The VHK Team

VHK Women’s Health Clinic was established by two NHS doctors, who have a special interest in women’s healthcare. With many years experience between them working in general practice and specialising in women’s health, Dr Victoria Hobbs and Dr Heidi Kerr set up VHK to provide women with bespoke care; from menopause support and HRT prescribing, to period health and Mirena coil insertion.

Dr Vicky Hobbs is a practising NHS GP with a strong interest in women’s health. She holds the Advanced certificate in Menopause Care from the British Menopause Society along with the diploma of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecologists and Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health. Vicky is also a faculty registered trainer and experienced coil fitter.

Vicky is passionate about delivering excellent menopause care, combining an empathetic approach with her dedicated knowledge for current safe evidence-based care.

She trained at Birmingham Women’s Hospital, gaining the FSRH Certificate in Menopause Care in 2012, a MSc Certificate in community gynaecology and also now hold the Advanced Certificate in Menopause Care from the British Menopause Society.

Held in high regard with her fellow colleagues, Vicky leads a support and advice service on complex cases negating the need for onward referrals to hospital. 

Dr Heidi Kerr

Dr Heidi Kerr graduated from Birmingham Medical School in 1997 and chose to pursue a career in general practice gaining experience in women’s health, before completing her GP training in 2002. She is a practising GP Partner in the NHS, alongside her role as medical director of VHK. 

Heidi has gained invaluable and varied experience throughout her career in all aspects of women’s health. She is a Diplomate for both the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health. An experienced coil and implant fitter, Heidi is a member of the British Menopause Society and is truly passionate about supporting women through the perimenopause years and beyond,

Heidi is a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners, recognising both her commitment to delivering holistic medical care and being an established GP trainer. She has extensive experience in running popular education courses, including lectures to fellow healthcare professionals, informal meetings for social groups and workshops for corporate professional services.
